Why We Do This
Lorenzo Piroli loved the holidays. In 2005 he started something small: a few wrapped gifts, a sled, and a handful of West Haven doorsteps that could use a little Christmas. He believed in showing up for his neighbors, making people feel seen, and doing something that mattered.
When Lorenzo passed away unexpectedly in March 2020, the people who loved him made a promise to keep his tradition going. Every December since, volunteers have gathered to wrap gifts, load the sleigh, and carry that same magic down the same streets. That is Lorenzo's legacy, and it is what drives every delivery we make.
